This has been a rather puzzling week. After leaving a message on a church answering machine (after hearing about when their Christmas Services are) and checking on some church websites that have no Lenten information, I ask myself “What are they missing?” Part of what we do here is to proclaim the Good News, but we need to be timely and current with this. As I have said in earlier posts, having a static website with no updated information reflects poorly on your community and your mission. It takes a little bit of work, but the payoff is more than worth it. The following post is a representative sampling of what can happen when you don’t keep your information and content current. Fortunately it turned out OK, but how many missed opportunities have not ended as nicely?
